Bangladesh: Key Media Executive arrested,fear extrajudicial Murder

Detective Branch(DB) of Bangladesh arrested top Media personality while ago without any formal charge. Mosaddek Ali (Falu), the Chairman and Managing Director of Popular Private TV Channel NTV has been held GMT 2pm.

While country is witnessing a political deadlock due to unrest, month long blockade, hartal (strikes) from 20 party alliances led by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Government continues carving key opposition voice through silencing Media, critics, journalists. 

Mr. Mosaddek Ali is a close aide and advisor to BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia who is passing time in her Gulshan office literally like a hostage. It is reported that Mr Mosaddek Ali went to meet BNP chairperson at 1:30pm GMT and arrested soon he came out.
