AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury Manik, Supreme Court’s justice was a Chatroleague leader in Kishorgonj. Grovelling of the Party enables him to appoint in the Supreme Court. Divulged comment in live TV talk show, ruling without proper reason, airplane ticket fixing and harassing opposition leaders and activists bring him in the spot light.

He was confirmed as a justice only because of being a member of awamileague. Apart from that he also has given responsibility a very special bench of Supreme Court. His Ruling, order and show cause makes chaos in the compound of the court.

 

Now we can see his unethical activities in a brooder way.
This justice has broken all the records of ruling of the past. A sudden ruling being issued and then announces ‘it is for the public interest’. It seems no one care about public interest but him or he has given the power only to look after public interest and he has no other job to do.

 

Awamileague leader Tofael Ahmed said in the parliament that this manik is a Sadist. He likes to insult other. This arrogant justice reproached about prominent researcher and easiest sayed Abul Maksud  ”The guy stupid”. He punished traffic police personnel by ordering him to perform sit-ups for not saluting him.

 

He made a chaos to sit in the business class on a flight of Bangladesh Biman airline although he only bought a economy class ticket. Biman boss, pilot, copilot and cabin staffs were kept standing in the dock with their hand clasped together in a poster of begging mercy. Enam, The Pilot was punished to publish advert in the six news paper confessing the fault.

Issuing rule not to reveal skype scandal:

 

After revealing skype scandal therefore losing minimal standard of the comedy tribunal, this politically motivated justice issued rule not to publish any more scandal of the tribunal. The daily Amar desh news paper covered the news as;

In the context of state petitions, Tribunal – 2 ordered not to publish or air the content of the alleged conversation of skype. At the same time AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury, extreme controversial justice  of high court issued a contempt of court rule against Mahmudur Rahman editor of Amardesh and instructed government to review to cancel the publication of Amardesh also to take judicial steps against Mahmudur Rahaman.   Therefore the editors and publisher of Daily Amardesh litigated with sedition.

This is the essence of AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury odious activity to hide the misdemeanour of tribunal. Whether Mahmudur Rahman deserve reward, this evil justice want to ban The Daily Amardesh and to arrest him.

Justice AHM Shamsuddin talked about parliament speakers advocacy, demanded allegation of sedition against speakers. He also faced harsh criticisms from both ruling and opposition party. The video would clarify everything.

Speaker said that Manik is suffering from "mental disorder" and he breached the constitution.  The eminent personalities express their keen reaction on the issue.

Since he became a justice only because of his party awami’s identity, hasn't been faced any legal action like the awami razakar (Colaborator of PAK Armi) who were skipped from facing the trail. The grand Alliance MP’s became agitated as the way it has redressed.They also demand legal action against Manik.

 

Allegation of corruption: Mahmudur Rahman, editor of Amar Desh files 29 allegations against him.   In response of these allegation president and supreme judicial council sent a letter to Mahmudur Rahman against Manik.

On behalf of Mahmudur Rahman special representative Awliullah Noman carried the charge sheet to the Bonghovhobon. The defence secretary of President accepted the charge sheet.

 

The Allegations brought against him:

 

AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury committed punishable criminal offence by violating of laws on money laundering act 2009 and 2012 and foreign currency exchange 1947 and the income tax act. He also alleged that a case has been filed against Justice Manik, in a court of London , on charges of embezzling money through false assurance.

 

In the allegation of money laundering act, stated that AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury showed three houses in London and that costs at Tk 40 lakh in his 2010-11 income tax documents. Manik has provided the wrong address about one of the houses and concealed his wealth information from the London authorities. In the Income tax document it is mentioned, the existence of 6 Ruskin Way, London SW17 was not found. In the same document showed that he sold a house at Tk 50 lakh .

He spent Tk 40 lakh to buy three houses in London. 

Justice Manik had another residence in London apart from the three houses mentioned in his tax record. In the document the figure was shown to buy three houses, the actual figure of paying was many times higher, he had not mentioned any account or source of this “extra money” in income tax papers submitted in London.

In the Income tax papers, it was nothing mentioned how did he sent money from Bangladesh to London.  There is no scope for sending huge money directly out of Bangladesh as foreign currency exchange and money laundering laws. In the document his mentioned TK 40 lakh sent in London violated money laundering act and foreign currency exchange act.

 

 

The real figure of his assets is many times higher. You would be cleared to see the price list of his houses. The above pictures are house price & house picture.

 

The papers and document of his house:

According to Land registry office London, AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury is the owner of  the house, 26 The Warrent, London (E12 5HY).  He bought this house 01 february in 2007. According to registry document the purchase price of this house in local British currency is 2.4 million pound which is 2 crore 41 lakh in Bangladeshi currency.

In the Charge sheet papers it was said that Shamsuddin Chowdhury and Nadia Chowdhury own the house  94 East Hill. London (SW18 2HF) in UK. Last year 21 November 2011 it was registered in their name.  The price of this property is 10 thousand pound. In the registry document their address was shown 108 Sheppey Road, Dagenham (RM9 4LB). This property was not shown in the income tax papers.

There was another property 6 Ruskin Way, London SW17 shown in the income tax document   mentioned in the allegation. The address of this property was wrong or incomplete or actual address was hided. There is no property in the registry office in London.

Justice Manik  applied for loan from a company named Mortgage express to buy the property, 108 Sheppey Road, Dagenham (RM9 4LB), mentioned in the registry document. In that application he claimed that he is working as a marketing manager of a company.   As a marketing manager his salary 34 thousand 450 British pound p.a. claimed in the application.

In the application of loan it was mentioned, Manik is working as a marketing manager since jun 1, 2003, but the same time he was appointed in the High court of Bangladesh. On 2nd July 2001 he has been appointed temporary judge in the high court division.

 

The charge sheet which was sent to Bangladesh president and Supreme Court says that:

 

According to Supreme Court codes of conduct when AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury engaged as a justice in high court, can not work for any other other company. He violated codes of practice claiming as a marketing manager to apply for loan in London

In the allegation it was also said that a man named jishiann Nasim litigate against AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury, alleged as a fruad in 25th Jun 2012.   In the allegation it was claimed that Mr Chowdhury introduced himself as an Immigration officer to the Complainant. As an Immigration officer he advised the man to get admission in the west minister college, also said, he got involvement with that college.  Justice AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury inspired him by introducing himself as a justice of Bangladesh Supreme Court apart from his disguised immigration officer identity, stated in the allegation. Jishan lost money by the consultancy of justice Chowdhury. So jishan bring him in the lawsuit for the deception and compensation.

The litigation number is 2QT70489 which has been done in the Northampton County Court, London. After getting the notice he applied to extend the time. At this time he mentioned in the application that he is a justice of Bangladesh High court, these are groundless and false acquisition so needs sufficient time to answer, he added.

 

In the allegation papers, which were sent to Bangladesh president and supreme council said that, AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury Manik uttered political statement in the live TV talk show. There he took side the current ruling party and opposed opposition. Mentioning those attended dates, it was said that he cannot attend any TV talk show and utter any political statement according to last updated codes of practice.

 

It was also mentioned that 26th august 2012 Supreme Court’s lawyer M U Ahmed died in the prison cell by police oppression. After that AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury attended in the talk show in London channel I where he comment about some sensitive issues. He spoke about M U Ahmed’s murder in detail. He precisely speaks  that MU Ahmed was suffering from different kinds of disease. MU died from disease not from police persecution he added. Giving such kind of speech in publicly he violates codes of conduct about the case which just filed in the court and investigation going on.

Making the traffic police sit ups for stopping his car in the reds signal and issuing rule to the dignified people of different level of the society therefore abuse them bringing in the court also mentioned in the allegation papers submitted to supreme judicial.

According to code of conduct a justice has no chance to incline or disincline. Justice AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury has breached the rule of conduct 1, 2, 3, 9, 11 made for the justice.

These are the misdeeds of notorious AHM Shamsuddin Choudhury .  This Corrupted judge has been promoted to the appellate division by government. Target is judicial murder, giving death sentence to the Islamist Leader maulana delwar hossain sayeedi. It is so surprises that the speaker declared justice Manik as a rule offender, appointed him a justice in appellate division. Bangladeshi people ashamed to see this appointment and lost their trust from the court and justice.
